The complex is spread over 90 acres and features seven fields, giving the Braves one of the most up to date training facilities around. The Atlanta Braves hired Hoover to install a large-sized centrifugal pump station with a filter system for their irrigation needs.

The Baltimore Orioles spring training facility, Ed Smith Stadium, is based in Sarasota, Florida. Hoover was engaged to install a booster system as part of the project to replace the facility's irrigation system with a greener, more environmentally sensitive operation. Ed Smith Stadium is noted as one of the most environmentally-friendly ballparks in the USA. Green credentials include extensive recycling, use of reclaimed water for toilets and irrigation, and the use of solar panels and roofing materials to save energy.
